If your still here, could you try the new version, "svchost viewer ver 0.3.0.0 RC1", and see if it fixed the problem, I should but i change some
things around, so i just wanna be sure.

I had Write a value of just under 3 gig. 2906816964
And yes, often weeks at a time.
I have not run it on my server yet, that one goes months at a time, or whatever the frequency of power outages is :)

how big is the amount of data your svchost/(s) are read/writing ?? cause maybe i need to
change the way the program is showing this infomation.

This can be fixed by changing lines 277/278 in Form1.cs to the following

data_written_txt.Text = "Amount of data written : " + String.Format("{0:0,0}", (Int64.Parse(hd.WriteTransferCount.ToString()) / 1024)) + " KB";
data_read_txt.Text = "Amount of data read : " + String.Format("{0:0,0}", (Int64.Parse(hd.ReadTransferCount.ToString()) / 1024)) + " KB";
